Barley and oat porridge with date, pistachio and banana

Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats
1 cup cooked (20/25 minutes)
Mt Zero Pearled Barley
1/4 cup chopped dates
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups water
1/3 cup chopped and lightly toasted pistachios 2 bananas, sliced
Honey to drizzle

Method

Put the oats, barley, dates, milk and water in a large saucepan. Bring to the boil over high heat, stirring, then reduce heat to a simmer. Stir for 5 minutes until thick and creamy. Pour into bowls and top with banana, chopped pistachios, and a drizzle of honey.
