Grampians Bushfires

February 12, 2014

A huge thank you to all those who have called, posted online and sent texts & emails of support during the recent bushfires in the Grampians. Also a massive thank-you to the CFA and DEPI fire crews and chopper pilots!

Whilst the fires have devastated much of the Grampians National Park, many farms and neighbouring properties, we have been incredibly lucky to have only had a small amount of fire damage. Our trees will recover and we have had no loss to sheds, equipment or housing.

Our thoughts and wishes go out to those that have been less lucky. The Mount Zero Cafe will be open for business again from Saturday the 25th of January and we encourage anyone who was thinking of visiting the Grampians in the coming weeks or months not to put off doing so. There is still incredible beauty to be found amongst the devastation and local businesses are going to need your support!
