Grown in Western Australia, Black Barley is a delicious ancient grain that is low GI, high in protein (16% - 19%), fibre, vitamin B6 and phosphorus. It offers a beautiful nutty taste and a wonderful chewy texture. This grain is unique in that it is hull-less, therefore does not require any further post-harvest processing meaning you're eating quite literally from paddock-to-plate - simply soak black barley overnight and then cook as desired!
