Our Frantoio is an (Australian grown) Italian varietal with a wonderful herbaceous aroma. This is a medium style oil with notes of bitter almond, fresh herbs and a delicious peppery finish. Use for frying and roasting, dressings or marinades.
In exciting news, our Frantoio extra virgin olive oil has just won a GOLD MEDAL at the 2020 Australian International Olive Awards. We love the judges comments: 'Very green and fresh profiles of artichoke, cut herbs, green almond and rocket. Good flavour transfer with fragrant notes. Clean mouthfeel. Creamy texture with high bitterness and medium pungency. Balanced with long length and good complexity.' Woohoo!
