Office Manager Role

Mount Zero Office Manager – Full Time, $60K plus superannuation.  

Ideally starting 25/9 or 2/10

Who we are:

Mount Zero is a vertically integrated family farm and Australian food wholesaler.  At our Melbourne office and warehouse, we have a team of 12 people.  Here we supply and service a range of restaurants, retailers and quality food lovers across Australia.

What you'll be doing

This exciting role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people across the business to get things done! If you love thinking outside the box, being proactive and consider yourself an all round do-er, then we'd love to hear from you.

As well as being the first point of contact for customers and suppliers, you will assist the Head of Sales and the General Manager by providing fantastic support.

Your day will begin at 7:30am and finish at 4pm.  Duties include:

  • Processing customer orders
  • Managing incoming calls
  • Responding to emails
  • Assisting with social media
  • Managing timesheets and payroll
  • Ensuring all databases are accurate and up-to-date
  • Assisting with accounts receivable and payable
  • Arranging staff functions and social events
  • Coordinating fortnightly all hands meetings
  • Developing and implementing office systems and procedures
  • Any other administration duties as and when required
  • Organising company events, social activities, engagement initiatives, holiday cards/presents, Easter gifts and charity nominations.

What we're looking for

  • Prior experience in office management or a similar role
  • Ready to work in a fast paced and exciting environment 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly organised skills with the ability to multi task and efficiency in your approach
  • An enthusiastic, approachable and positive manner
  • An ability to manage multiple priorities at once
  • Previous experience in the food wholesale industry will be an advantage
