The Mount Zero olive grove has long, quiet periods where the trees are in hibernation, taking time out between the budding, flowering, fruiting and maturing process that gifts us our fruit. The next couple of months will not be one of these periods! The trees are packed full of fruit from the abundant spring rains we experienced last year and in celebration we have a raft of sensational events and happenings over the coming months.
Here's a quick look at the festivities..
We are thrilled to be hosting our first ever Regional World's Longest Lunch as part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival program. The long table lunch, set among the grove with views of the surrounding northern Grampians will be a truly amazing spectacle.
Reopening of the Millstone Cafe at Mount Zero Grove
During the month of April we'll be reviving an old favourite, the Millstone Cafe. After a two year hiatus we'll be opening up again for lunches, light snacks, farmgate sales and providing a milkbar service to the campers enjoying the Undersky luxury tents that will be lining the grove.
If you're touring the Grampians between April 1st and 30th, please pop in to enjoy this rare occasion.
An unforgettable experience under the skies – with a few added luxuries. Sit back in front of your tent and sip on a local riesling as you watch the skies darken and become heavy with stars. Fall asleep on a soft mattress underneath the draped canvas of your bell tent with the sounds of nature surrounding you. Wake up to a homemade breakfast delivered to your canvas door as the sun paints the mountains in front of you with kaleidoscopic colours. It’s camping, but like you've never experienced before.
